Position Description
This position is responsible for fabricating dental prostheses or corrective devices for the replacement of natural teeth. Work is performed under the supervision of a Dentist and/or Dental Lab Technician II.

Major/Essential Functions
Insure dental prosthetics are produced timely and efficiently for both the Student Clinicians and Faculty practices
Work effectively with Faculty and Student Clinicians using all necessary channels of communications that facilitate the accomplishment of tasks. Effective in assessing clinical needs
Daily cleaning and maintenance of all digital laboratory equipment
Inventory management for all supplies related to digital lab technician to insure timely work flow
Ordering of all materials as required by the operation of the digital lab
Additional duties as directed by supervisor or Associate Dean of Clinical Affairs
Adhere to all TTUHSCEP policies, procedures and processes.
Personally demonstrate, display, and act in accordance with TTUHSCEP’s values (Service, Respect, Accountability, Integrity, Advancement, and Teamwork). Actively promote and encourage staff across the institution.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
High School or equivalent.
Completion of an approved Dental Laboratory Technician training program, or five (5) years of directly related experience.
Certified Dental Technician (CDT) preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Digital and analog fabrication of most currently prescribed fixed and removable dental prosthetics
Working knowledge of most digital equipment related to the manufacture of dental prosthetics including, but not limited to chairside and stand-alone imaging systems, CAD and CAM software systems, digital printing and dental milling
Formal Dental Technology education preferred but not required
