Contributes to the University's mission through teaching students and residents, research and clinical services
Provides patient care services in outpatient and inpatient settings
Participates in scholarly activities in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, in the area of Women's Health
Participates in committees and other administrative duties
Ensures compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations
Adheres to institutional and departmental policies and procedures
Required Qualifications
M.D. or D.O. degree
Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited or RCPSC-accredited residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Texas medical license or eligible for licensure in the state of Texas
Preferred Qualifications
Experience education of residents and/or medical students
Board certification in OB/GYN by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology for the rank of assistant professor or higher
Emerging or established regional or national reputation for the rank of associate professor or higher
Bilingual in English/Spanish
