Job Description:
Must Provide electrical, instrumentation and mechanical support to TTC assets.
Under the guidance of the Senior E&I Engineer and the direction of the line manager, the E&I Technician performs the specific tasks required to calibrate, maintain, repair, and install equipment, and to provide hands on support to maintain and improve the reliability of TTC equipment.Required Skills/Knowledge/Responsibilities:
· Maintain consistent and document compliance with all relevant Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ)
· Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
· Data Integrity (DI)
· Carry out routine maintenance tasks in line with the agreed schedule, recording all results in the appropriate system and reporting back on any anomalies.
· Take on responsibility for carrying out maintenance activities, modifications and calibration to existing facilities and will be expected to work on maintenance schedules based on plant demands and equipment specifications
· Maintain maintenance records through CMMS (computerized maintenance management system)
· Working to and maintaining GMP standards
· Respond in a timely fashion to breakdown conditions and work in such a way as to minimize downtime
· Support the Lead Engineer and others in the Asset Engineering Team and Operations teams as required achieving high levels of availability and plant integrity
· Provide maintenance cover throughout the working day and, at times, during out-of-hours working (extended days and weekends)
· Carry out all activities to agreed SHEQ standards, taking a clear position to identify and implement actions for improvement
· Ensure that spare parts required for the maintenance activities are controlled and ordered in a timescale appropriate to maintaining the toolset uptime
· Comply with the internal and external regulatory environment such as procurement, maintaining records, traceability, and confidentiality
· Assist in the development of a maintenance strategy for the equipment operated by TTC with reference to the assets Engineering Team facilities
· Ensure all relevant personnel are kept informed of progress or proposed changes on their own maintenance operations to minimize the impact on the processes being operated
· Assist in the design modification process and be proactive in the modification procedure
· Share professional knowledge with colleagues
· Identify and understand the requirements of internal and external customers and use creative thinking and problem solving to challenge assumptions, innovate, make new proposals, and build on existing ideas
· Contribute to a culture of continuous performance improvement within the technical environment in alignment with company strategy and project deliverables
· Troubleshoots, repairs, calibrates, and maintains various audiovisual, electronic, electromechanical, digital, and microprocessor-controlled instrumentation, equipment and systems

Education Requirements:
Degree in Electrical or Instrumentation.
Experience/Qualifications:
· Educated to HND level (or equivalent) in a technical subject.
· Knowledge of Allen-Bradley Platform and Rockwell Automation devices.
Knowledge of Siemens Platform and related devices.
Physical Ability and Demand:
Must be able to lift, sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time. Tasks involve the ability to exert physical effort in sedentary to movement type work, but which may involve lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of minimal weight. Tasks may involve extended periods of time at a sedentary or movement type work. The following are the parameters this job may require:
o Walking: Constantly for up to 12 hours
o Standing: Constantly for up to 12 hours
o Lifting: Regularly and constantly from 0-30 lbs.
o Pushing, Pulling, Twisting and Climbing: Often up to 12 hours
o Stooping, Kneeling, crawling: Often up to 3 hours
o Reaching, grasping, repetitive motions; Regularly and constantly up to 10 hours
Environmental Factors: Tasks are regularly performed with exposure to environmental conditions, such as but not limited to; dirt, dust, pollen, odors, wetness, humidity, rain, fumes, temperature and noise extremes, machinery, vibrations, electric currents, machine hazards.
