Texas Tissue seeks a detail-oriented and organized Human Resources Coordinator with a strong background in payroll administration to join our dynamic HR team.
Key Responsibilities/HR Support
Maintain employee records, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate employee benefits programs (health, retirement, etc.) and assist employees with related inquiries.
Process employees leave requests (sick leave, vacation, FMLA, etc.) and ensure accurate record-keeping.
Payroll Administration
Process bi-weekly/monthly payroll, ensuring accurate and timely payment for all employees.
Ensure proper deductions for taxes, benefits, and other withholdings.
Compliance & Reporting
Assist with employee administration on HR-related policies, payroll systems, and benefits.
Prepare and maintain reports related to payroll, employee benefits, and HR reports
Support HR audits by providing necessary documentation and assisting with any required investigations.
Additional HR Duties
Participate in employee engagement and retention initiatives.
Assist in performance review coordination with supervisors and managers.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
2 years of experience in human resources, with specific experience in payroll administration.
Knowledge of payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks) and HR management systems.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
