Texas Tissue Converting is seeking to hire full-time Production Helpers to become Machine Operators that will learn to operate paper converting machinery in the production of bath tissue and paper towels. 12 hour shifts 6-6:30, rotate every 30 days. Shift differential paid when working nights! 2-2-3 schedule!
$18.00/ hour to start.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Learn how to operate and maintain production machines in a paper converting line. (Rewinders, unwinders, wrappers, palletizers, case packers, etc.)
- Ability to adhere to Safety Policy and Procedures!
- Run and Operate and clean manufacturing machinery and equipment.
- Complete work orders and requests in a timely fashion.
- Load raw materials (Parent Reels, Poly Rolls, Core Materials)
- Monitor equipment, perform resets, replenish and troubleshoot assigned area of the line as needed.
- Determine and report downtime, pallet counts, machine speeds, etc.
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and assigned areas.
- Monitor line for defective materials and perform quality checks.
- May operate overhead crane to load and unload parent reels.
- May operate packaging equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: At least 1 years of machine operation experience required.
- Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail and ability to work independently or with a team!
- Physical: Must be able to work 12 hour shifts standing, bending, stooping and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Paper Converting experience a plus.
- Excellent attendance record (the schedule is the 2-2-3 schedule)
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to complete background check and pre- employment drug and alcohol testing requirements.
