Texas Tissue Converting is seeking to hire full-time Production Helpers to assist with paper converting machinery in the production of bath tissue and paper towels. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with operation of paper converting equipment and ensure all production materials are available.
- Assist in monitoring equipment, perform machine resets, and troubleshoot assigned area of the line as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and assigned areas.
- Monitor line for defective materials and perform quality checks as needed.
- Assist with preparation of raw materials to be used in production.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some college or technical school is a plus
- 1 years of experience in production or manufacturing
- Experience using hand tools a plus
- Forklift or pallet jack experience a plus
- Excellent work attendance
- Strong attention to detail
- Physical ability to stand, bend, twist, stoop and lift up to 25 lbs
- Ability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to work rotational shifts or as needed
- 12 hour shifts
- Ability to successfully pass a background check
- Military experience a plus
