Key Responsibilities
Cultivate New Sales Relationships:
- Drive incremental sales growth by cultivating current business relationships and pursuing new business relationships
- Create a territory plan that maximizes time in the field and optimizes call routes
- Develop strategies focused on expanding customer base within sales territory
- Achieve or exceed targets for revenue, sales meetings and calls
Manage Customer Relationships:
- Plan future sales activity
- Maintain account and customer contact
- Manage ongoing customer communications
- Report accurate information on overall results of customer interactions
- Maintain sales pipeline
Qualifications
- Ability to self-motivate and be productive without supervision
- Five (5) years of proven work experience in account management / sales management
- Three (3) years of experience in our industry or similar industry (e.g., construction, fastening, industrial and construction supplies)
- Established network of business relationships with potential to expand
- Strong ability to leverage relationships to accomplish sales and profitability goals
- A personable disposition in providing customer service
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), capable of building trusting relationships
- Familiarity with consumer behavior principles
- Basic math skills
- Ability to intermittently lift, push and/or pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to lift, bend and kneel
- High school degree (required)
- College/University studies (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
