Quality Technician

Specific Job Description:

Follow Transland’s Quality Management System to ensure conformance to company, regulatory and customer requirements, including relevant FAA quality and approval processes. Support internal and external audits, corrective actions, Non-Conforming Material Reports, RMAs. Receiving inspection of parts and first article inspections to engineer drawings, per quality manual.

Essential Duties:

• Perform corrective actions, internal & external audits, RMAs, Non-Conforming Material Reports, supplier quality processes, calibrations, and First Article Inspections.
• Report quality related issues
• Actively work in the Inspection process and with other Departments to perform duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Experience Requirements:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel beneficial.
• 1 years Previous Inspection Experience
• Manufacturing operations experience (purchasing, fabrication, machining, assembly, shipping, etc.) would be beneficial; previous experience in aviation manufacturing would be desired.
• A working knowledge of Part 21 FAA regulations such as PMA and STC is beneficial.
• A working knowledge of ERP business systems is beneficial.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
