Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Estimating Manager to lead our estimating team in the construction industry. The Estimating Manager will play a critical role in the planning and execution of projects, working closely with various stakeholders to ensure project success.
Duties
- Oversee the estimating team and manage all aspects of the estimating process for construction projects.
- Utilize software tools such as Bluebeam for accurate cost estimation and analysis.
- Review project plans and specifications to prepare detailed estimates, ensuring all elements are accounted for.
- Negotiate contracts with clients and subcontractors to secure favorable terms and pricing.
- Implement cost control measures to monitor project budgets and expenditures throughout the lifecycle of each project.
- Collaborate with project managers to assess project requirements, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Conduct site visits to gather information necessary for accurate estimates and assess potential challenges.
- Provide mentorship and training to junior estimators, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- 5 years estimating experience or 3 years management experience.
- Proficiency in using estimating software such as Bluebeam.
- Strong understanding of contract negotiation processes and cost control principles.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in estimates.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Capable of managing a team of up to 5.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
