Role Responsibilities
Our Member Advocate I helps people and are committed to making an impact in our member’s lives. They focus on brighter paths by providing advice tailored to suit our member’s financial needs. You will help assist with everyday transactions, build rapport, and make them part of the Texas Trust family.
- Create a member experience that makes them feel welcomed. Personalize every interaction by using the member’s name and thank them for choosing Texas Trust;
- Find ways to exceed member expectations with full consideration of policies, procedures and regulatory requirements while also building relationships to enhance our member’s financial future;
- Utilize exceptional service skills to engage with members, and present member focused solutions to deepen relationships in person, by phone and through written communication;
- Initiate a warm transition to other areas of business to take care of extended member financial needs;
- Educate members on ways to do their banking conveniently through multi-channel solutions including online and mobile banking;
- Proactively collaborate with other departments to satisfy all member requests;
- Be flexible and willing to assist in other lines of business as requested;
- Ability to identify fraud and take appropriate action to prevent losses;
- Practices and brings to life with the team our “Yes And… culture;
- Comply with established regulations and law requirements;
- Perform various other duties as assigned.
Required Experience
- 1-2 years of retail experience
- Minimum of 1 year of previous teller/CSR experience preferred
Skills, Education and/or Certifications Required
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Ability to operate multiple computer systems efficiently
- Requires an organized, meticulous self-starter who is able to work independently
- Strong processing, analytical and critical thinking skills
- Possess a strong work ethic and an adaptable team player mentality
- Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to member satisfaction
- Required to manage all member information in a confidential manner
- Professional written and verbal communications skills
- Proficient with proactively sourcing, acquiring, building, and maintaining relationships with members and colleagues
- Ability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays
- Position may require extended periods of sitting or standing, and lifting under 10 pounds
