What are the responsibilities and job description for the PAS/PHC Supervisor position at Texas Visiting Nurse Service, Ltd?
Job Responsibilities include but not limited to: Work as a team with the office support staff. Perform home visits to supervise attendants at the client's home as required. Perform home visits with clients to review their individual service plan of approved tasks and hours as authorized by HHSC, DFPS, AAA, and DSHS. Report to the Office Supervisor any significant findings about the client relayed by family members or attendants. Ensures the clients are staffed appropriately by orientating attendants and provide on the job training. Document home visits and complete required forms as per agency policies. A company car is included to conduct home visits in the surrounding areas of our Harlingen office.
Skills and Knowledge: Non-Nurse with completed 2 years of full time study (60 college credit hours) at an accredited college or university. Individuals may substitute one year (30 college credit hours) of full time employment in a supervisory capacity in a health care facility, agency, or community-based agency for each required year of college. Bilingual English and Spanish is required to be able to communicate with clients, care givers and attendants effectively.
