What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Time RN position at Texas Visiting Nurse Service?
Work as a full time RN with individuals currently receiving long term waiver services from the CLASS program, a state funded program for individuals with disabilities. Position requires the supervision of the clients services and that of the providers whom have been hired to care for them. The RN position is that of a supervisory role, who assesses the needs of the individual, acts a mediator between the agencies whom also service the clients, as well as an advocate when dealing with issues of Abuse, neglect and exploitation, and a teacher/trainer to those hired to care for the client. RN must be willing to travel and conduct home visits and be a back up to other RN's as needed, but be CPR certified, have at least one year pediatric experience and be bilingual.
