Job Description
Texas Woman's University College of Nursing is comprised of three large campuses located in the cities of Denton, Dallas, and Houston. Our distinguished faculty are committed to excellence in teaching, practice, service and scholarship. The incumbent will be part of the Houston campus faculty and will hold responsibilities for teaching in Houston, Dallas, and Denton. Optimally, the applicant would reside in Houston, Texas. This non-tenure track position includes didactic and clinical teaching. Teaching will primarily be within the Master's program but may include teaching at the undergraduate and doctoral levels as appropriate. Specific areas of responsibility will vary according to the faculty member's experience and the teaching needs of the academic programs.
The successful applicant will have demonstrated clinical expertise in advanced practice nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner specialization. The applicant must hold RN and APRN licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner or be eligible for both in the State of Texas. A terminal degree in nursing is preferred.
