What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Special Operator position at Texas Wood Supply?

Job Description

Description : Accountabilities

Continuously update hourly goals.
Set up machines (if applicable) to complete tasks according to door specifications.
Thoroughly read and follow label and sales order ticket specifications before and after assembling doors.
Operate 1 machine efficiently assembling interior and exterior doors.
Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) and conduct quality inspections on doors.
Ensure preventative maintenance (if applicable) is performed on machines daily / weekly.
Monitor and achieve daily productivity goals by addressing constraints and communicating with the supervisor.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements : Qualifications :

Education : High School Diploma or GED

Experience : Minimum of 2 years’ experience using pneumatic machinery such as air compressors, saws, and routers.

Mechanic experience preferred

License or Certification : None

Physical Demands :

Be able to lift 30-75 lbs with assistance

Perform repetitive tasks

Long periods of standing at a time

Knowledge and Skills :

Strong mechanical aptitude

Organizational skills

Must be able to read and write English.

Door production experience is a plus but not required
