Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll/HR Specialist to support our HR Director with recruiting, onboarding, and administrative duties, as well as assist the Payroll Manager with payroll processing and reconciliations. This role will ensure accurate, timely payroll across multiple entities and help maintain compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee full payroll cycle for salaried and part-time employees across multiple entities.
- Process monthly, quarterly, and annual bonuses, commissions, and off-cycle payrolls.
- Reconcile payroll-related accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Conduct payroll audits and ensure accuracy of time and attendance records.
- Administer payroll updates, garnishments, and benefit deductions.
- Support HR Director with recruiting, onboarding, and employee inquiries.
- Assist with HR processes, policies, and maintaining employee files.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3 years of payroll and HR experience.
- Knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations (Texas, California, South Carolina, etc.).
- Strong experience with payroll systems (Paylocity preferred).
- Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and communication skills.
