Position Description
- This position is responsible for monitoring, screening, and processing Retirement, Survivor, Disability Insurance (RSDI) and Supplemental Security Insurance (SSI) Benefit application / claims for qualifying children / youth in Client care .
- This position researches, completes forms, manages spreadsheets and works with several programs, databases, and software .
- This position also handles all the mail from Social Security Administration.
Skills Required :
Interpretation of statutes (both State and Federal)
Verbal / written communications
Research and evaluation
Complex analytical work, compiling and documenting fiscal data and computer navigation and tracking
Establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships with internal and external individuals
Skills Preferred :
Administrative skills, organized, flexible, ability to multi task
Experience Required :
There are not too many people who have social security experience.
This position is more like an admin, and can be trained.

Education Required :
Must have a high school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (G.E.D).
