Texell, named one of the best credit unions to work for in the nation by the Credit Union Journal, is seeking a Commercial Intern!
The internship will begin in August 2025 and end in May 2026. Applicants must be able to work in-person at our Temple, TX offices for the entirety of the internship.

Commercial Internship
As a Commercial Intern, you will:
- Provide support to the commercial department
- Assisting with Financial Analysis: analyzing financial statements, reports and data. Help identify and evaluate financial risks.
- Supporting Client Relationships: assist in preparing presentations and reports for meetings. Participate in client calls or meetings to understand their needs and help gather required financial information.
- Market/Industry Research: conduct market research to support Texell’s business development and marketing efforts. Gather and analyze competitor data, industry trends and economic factors that may affect the business.
- Provide Operational Support, Document Management and other administrative assistance.
- Support the commercial departments' strategic initiatives and project roadmap.
Qualifications:
- A student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, accounting or a related field.
- Basic understanding of financial statements, accounting principles and financial analysis techniques. Basic knowledge of financial products and banking operations is a plus.
- Ability to maintain strict protocol and confidentiality while exhibiting a professional image.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in Microsoft Applications.
- Analytical skills: ability to analyze data, identify trends and create reports.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, meet deadlines and prioritize responsibilities.
- Positive and energetic attitude in the face of adversity and conflict.
