Classic Car Restoration Shop Manager

Texoma Classics, a classic car restoration shop, is seeking a Shop Manager to oversee our extensive automotive restoration projects at our Sherman, Texas location. This position is ideal for experienced project managers from the classic car restoration industry or related fields who have a passion for leading high-quality, detailed projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee project timelines, budgets, and quality control, ensuring each project meets our stringent standards.
• Manage a technical team in tasks ranging from teardowns and custom fabrications to custom upholstery.
• Foster team efficiency and work quality through effective leadership and problem-solving.

Qualifications:

• Strong background in managing diverse vehicle projects, including antiques and classic cars with modern crate engine installs.
• Proficient in project management tools, budget oversight, and technical staff management.
• Skilled in customer interactions, providing regular updates, and handling project inquiries.
• Knowledgeable in paint and body work, with experience in HP Tuners or similar diagnostic tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Additional Role Details:

• Mentorship and team leadership, developing project scopes, sourcing components, and maintaining vendor relations.
• Ensuring compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards.
