Under the direction of the Director of Medical Staff, this position is responsible to provide support services for the Medical Staff Services Office including managing incoming calls, greeting and assisting visitors, physician outpatient orders, affiliation requests, unassigned ED call schedule, Medical Staff meeting calendar, meetings, and minutes, new and current provider processing, filing, file management, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must have stable and verifiable work experience. Minimum of five (5) years of administrative support experience, with experience in a high volume acute care hospital strongly preferred.
Must have strong computer skills that are typically used in the Microsoft Office suite of software. Strong verbal and written communication skills a must. Customer service skills along with strong organization and work ethic are required.
