Job Title : Registered Nurse

Shift : 12-Hour Night Shift (7p-7a)
Guaranteed Hours : 36 Hours per Week
Experience : Minimum 2 Years as an RN, 1 Year in Med / Surg
License : Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse
Certifications : NIHSS, BLS, & ACLS Required
Must-Have : Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program; BSN Highly Desired
Job Description :
- Fulfill the needs of patients, families, and community by performing a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements.
- Deliver care to patients in a competent, capable, caring, and efficient manner.
- Apply knowledge of growth and development over the life span to provide age-appropriate care.
- Demonstrate the ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of the patients' needs.
- Show understanding of the range of treatment needed by these patients.
- Perform initial assessment and determine appropriate nursing needs of assigned patients, as evidenced by appropriate documentation.
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments on all assigned patients, including a review of systems, as evidenced by appropriate documentation.
- Complete admission assessments within established time frames according to policy and procedures.
