We are currently seeking an Electrician - Solar Projects! Texon Solar is a nationwide commercial solar installation company with current projects in Texas, Illinois, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Maryland. We are looking to add to licensed Electricians to our team. You MUST have experience in installing commercial projects. We prefer experience in commercial rooftop solar, but if you have solar farm or other commercial solar experience, we will consider your resume. Our projects range from 100kW to 1MW rooftop systems to the occasional 5-20MW solar farm installation.
This is a traveling electrician position. Some projects will be less than a week, while others will last several months, with return trips back home after 3 weeks. Some jobs are prevailing wage, while others will have hourly rates based on experience. We pay per diem and traveling expenses for all remote positions. Insurance and benefits available after 90 days. Must be a licensed electrician in the United States. We have positions available for Apprentice, Journeyman or Master Electrician, with wage scales to match. We are looking for team leaders and those wishing to further their careers and knowledge in Solar Energy installations.
Responsibilities :
- Complete all AC side of solar installation projects
- Install various types of inverters, electrical panels, switchgear and disconnects.
- Troubleshoot inverter and control systems
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems
- Adhere to all quality and safety codes
