RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC systems, and appliances to ensure they are in proper working order
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and address any maintenance issues or safety hazards
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and residents, prioritizing urgent matters
- Perform repairs and renovations to the building's structure, including painting, carpentry, and drywall repair
- Maintain the grounds by removing garbage, snow and ice as needed
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and equipment inventory
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols, including those related to hazardous materials and waste disposal
- Assist with the setup and teardown of equipment and furniture for events and activities within the nursing home
- Collaborate with other staff members to maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for residents and employees
- Participate in training programs and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge related to maintenance and facility management.
- Minimum High School Diploma/GED
- MUST have a Low Pressure Black Seal Certification
- Able to Communicate Clearly in English Verbally and in Writing
- Excellent Interpersonal Communication Skills
- Ability to work together in Supportive Team Atmosphere
