Textile Products, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to our regulatory compliance efforts, while promoting a positive safety culture across the organization.
Main Responsibilities:
- Compliance Support: Provide support to our regulatory compliance efforts, ensuring adherence to federal, state, local, and internal standards and regulations.
- Training Delivery: Deliver training programs in English and Spanish, focusing on regulatory compliance and workplace safety.
- Incident Investigation: Conduct thorough investigations into incidents, identifying root causes and developing effective corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Safety Inspections: Conduct regular site audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Industrial Hygiene Evaluations: Assist in coordinating industrial hygiene and other EHS evaluations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Emergency Response Team Member: Participate in the company's emergency response team, responding to emergencies such as spills, evacuations, and first aid situations.
- Compliance Program Administration: Assist in the administration and maintenance of compliance programs, records, and reports related to environmental, health, and safety, as well as trade compliance.
