About the Role
This EHS Specialist role is designed to provide comprehensive support to Textile Products, Inc. regulatory compliance efforts, promoting a positive safety culture across the organization.
The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of occupational safety and health principles, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Develop and Deliver Training Programs: Create and deliver training materials in English and Spanish, focusing on regulatory compliance and workplace safety.
- Investigate Incidents and Develop Corrective Actions: Conduct thorough investigations into incidents, identifying root causes and developing effective corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Conduct regular site audits and inspections to ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and internal standards and regulations.
- Coordinate Industrial Hygiene Evaluations: Assist in coordinating industrial hygiene and other EHS evaluations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Support Emergency Response Efforts: Participate in the company's emergency response team, responding to emergencies such as spills, evacuations, and first aid situations.
- Administer Compliance Programs: Assist in the administration and maintenance of compliance programs, records, and reports related to environmental, health, and safety, as well as trade compliance.
