The Domestic Civil Certification Tech Aide supports Textron Aviation FAA type certification efforts across all models. This individual supports Certification Program Managers and Domestic Certification Engineers in their daily tasks, maintains records that are compliant with company/FAA policies and procedures, and prepares metrics.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Locates and retrieves physical historical records from long term storage facilities and may include converting physical files to digital format.
- Reviews historical records for proper document retention per company/FAA policies. Assists with ensuring document classifications are consistent with Export-Controlled Information (ITAR, EAR) regulations.
- Supports departmental initiatives to consolidate electronic footprint.
- Prepares domestic certification metrics (e.g. Quarterly, ODA scorecard, MOR) for internal and external reporting.
- Facilitates process development by establishing procedures and guidance material.
- Manages digital signature program for the ODA Unit Members and Administrators.
- Builds certification project audit packages in support of internal and FAA audits.
- Covers duties of International Civil Certification Tech Aide on occasion
QUALIFICATONS:
- Strong organization, time management and prioritization skills
- Strong professional verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office programs
