Description
Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of golf cars, utility and personal transportation
vehicles, snowmobiles, side-by-sides, all-terrain vehicles, professional turf-care equipment, and ground support
equipment. Textron Specialized Vehicles markets products under several different brands. Its vehicles are found in
environments ranging from golf courses to factories, airports to planned communities, and theme parks to hunting
preserves.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop solutions to mechanical systems and technical problems.
- Develop test procedures and lead elements of testing.
- Manage multiple projects and complete technical work assignments.
- Work with minimal supervision and direct other technicians as needed.
- Apply engineering methods to problems while understanding implications to cost, manufacturability, andcustomer expectations.
- Represent the company to dealers and customers as a technical expert in key areas.
- Complete and monitor specialized testing for issues and accuracy.
- Prepare final reports on test outcomes and provide recommendations to leadership
Qualifications
- Education: high school diploma or GED required; Associate degree or mechanical/electrical degreepreferred
- Years of Experience: 7 or more years of experience with mechanical systems and their application tosnowmobiles required, knowledge of project management required
- Software Knowledge: Data acquisition systems, Microsoft Office Applications
- Valid driver's license required
