Textum OPCO, LLC is hiring an Operations Coordinator for it's Belmont, NC textile manufacturing operation.

Whether it's thermal protection systems for space vehicles, preforms for CMC components, or preforms and fabrics for carbon-carbon processing, we have the experience and expertise to help ensure our customer's success both as a reinforcement provider and through delivery of finished parts.
We are looking for a qualified Operations Coordinator to support both development and production activities related to textile manufacturing as well as facilities support. The ideal candidate will have experience setting production schedules, working in an ERP system, and acting as an interface between process control authorities and production staff; interfacing with management, technicians, and peers; coordinating and scheduling outside service contractors and vendors; and communicating challenges, identifying needs, and formulating plans to overcome those challenges and needs. They will be expected to maintain safety and productivity while working within a quality system, and they will support all aspects of production from supply chain management to product delivery. The Operations Coordinator may also perform a variety of hands-on activities including, but not limited to: machine operation, physical labor, basic tool usage, and other tasks as needed.
This is a full-time, direct hire position with 1st shift hours.

Responsibilities
Perform a wide variety of coordination tasks, including but not limited to: inventory, purchasing, process documentation, scheduling, and vendor communication
- Production & Operations Support
- Coordinate daily production schedules & ensure on-time completion of manufacturing tasks
- Monitor workflow & communicate potential bottlenecks or delays to the Operations Director
- Work closely with production teams to ensure compliance with quality & safety standards
- Key data into Access database daily for efficiency tracking
- Manually test fabric samples & key into ERP systems
- Inventory & Supply Chain Management
- Track inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to maintain adequate raw materials & supplies
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records & conducting periodic audits
- Logistics & Order Fulfillment
- Oversee the scheduling & coordination of shipments for finished goods
- Ensure accurate & timely order processing, including invoicing and shipping documentation
- Work with logistics partners to optimize transportation costs and delivery timelines
- Administrative & Reporting Tasks
- Maintain operational records, production reports, and key performance indicators (KPI's)
- Assist in preparing reports and presentations for management review
- Support compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations
- A high school diploma is required
- An Associates or Bachelor's degree is a strong advantage
- Experience working with textile weaving is a plus
- Experience working with composite materials is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment autonomously and under pressure and complete all assigned tasks
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing and perform basic math calculations
- Ability to solve problems using existing procedures to perform straightforward tasks
- Can work well with others in a diverse group and foster a cooperative work environment
- Possess a working knowledge of MS Office, Excel and Access are a necessity
- Experience working in an ERP system is helpful
- Ability to be flexible to move throughout various tasks throughout the day
- Ability to operate a variety of hand tools and machinery
- Candidates will be required to pass a drug test
