Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement comprehensive biological monitoring programs.
- Conduct pre-construction surveys to identify potential environmental impacts.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
- Care for captive animals in accordance with established protocols.
- Analyze climate data and maintain weather station equipment.
- Develop educational materials to promote environmental awareness.
- Compile and report data collection results.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in biology, botany, ecology, or closely related field with a minimum of six months related experience.
- Experience working in the Mojave Desert ecosystem.
- A working knowledge of standard office computer software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
