Floor Tech (On-Call)
Location: Keller Army Community Hospital, West Point, NY

What You’ll Do:
As a Floor Tech, you’ll operate power equipment to maintain and clean floors throughout the Keller Army Community Center. Your responsibilities will include machine scrubbing, stripping, waxing, and other floor maintenance tasks, ensuring that all areas are kept safe, clean, and in top condition.
Key responsibilities include:
- Operating floor maintenance equipment for tasks such as scrubbing, stripping, and waxing.
- Following infection control measures, safety protocols, and cleaning procedures.
- Assisting with other housekeeping duties as needed to support the hospital’s mission.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in hospital housekeeping or floor maintenance is preferred, but not required.
- Experience in using rotatory machines (175rmp, 1500rpm 2000rpm) a plus, but not required.
- English Proficiency – Must be able to speak, read, and write English to communicate effectively with supervisors and government personnel.
- Flexible Availability – Must be available to work all shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Team Player – Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Other Requirements:
- Applicants will undergo a federal background check.
- Applicants will undergo a medical exam and vaccine clearance.
- Applicants must legally live in the country greater than 3 years.
