The role of the A/V Tech Lead is to install and integrate Audio Visual solutions using your skills and talents while leading and mentoring a team of installers on various projects. This position reports directly to the AV Superintendent, and is responsible for the performance, efficiency and quality required to complete Projects. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
General Responsibilities:
- Successful project and solution implementation
- Perform assigned tasks timely, efficiently, and as accurately as possible
- Identify and voice any obstacles to successful job performance timely and clearly to superintendent
- Understanding of tools and equipment needed for successful installations
- Provide Daily Progress Reports to Project Superintendent as directed, including detailed project progress and issues
- Reach out for solutions and alternatives to project issues and challenges promptly
- Ensure install instructions including specs and project requirements are adhered to
- Ensure installations meet both TFE standards and customer expectations
- Understand and communicate information timely, professionally and effectively
Organizational Effectiveness
- Grow and maintain knowledge of Industry Standards and Best Practices, Local Codes, and OSHA requirements
- Keep track of and maintain control of all TFE assets used for projects
- Enter accurate time punch using Paycom app daily.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- 4 Year verifiable experience in A/V Installations and leading crews
- Computer skills: working knowledge in Excel, Outlook, Teams and other industry related programs
- CTS, Crestron, QSC, Extron or other vendor certs are a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a team with minimal supervision after given instructions
- Ability to perform physical duties in the field including lifting, climbing ladders and working machinery
- Requires occasional travel and flexible schedule with seasonal extended hours and variable shifts
- Understanding of technical lingo and common techniques needed for proper installation
- Understanding of plans and specifications
- Have and maintain personal tools required for the position

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
