Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated individual to join our maintenance team. As part of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all facilities and equipment are well-maintained and functional. This position requires a versatile individual who is capable of performing a variety of tasks, including general maintenance, repairs, and minor construction work. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance tasks, including repairs to plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC units
- Repair or replace broken fixtures, doors, windows, locks, and other building components
- Install and assemble furniture and equipment as needed
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance or repair issues
- Perform routine upkeep, including painting, caulking, and minor construction work
- Ensure all safety systems are functional, including fire alarms, emergency exits, and lighting
- Maintain and organize tools and equipment; ensure they are in good working condition
- Work with contractors and other team members on larger projects as needed
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies during work and repairs
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in general maintenance, handyman work, or related fields
- Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work
- Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide range of equipment and systems
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Reliable, punctual, and able to manage multiple tasks at once
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well independently or with a team
- Basic understanding of safety and maintenance protocols
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
