What are the responsibilities and job description for the National Sales Executive position at TForce Logistics?
The National Sales Executive is responsible for prospecting new opportunities (80% of the time spent), gaining access to C-Level decision makers and develop strong relationships, develop value-added solutions to customer issues, focus on long-term partnerships. Develop Business Plans outlining focus within key verticals. Also, may perform customer business reviews and act on any growth opportunities, prospect new business opportunities within key verticals, oversee and lead proposal development and response to RFPs and RFIs, develop Scope of Work documents and assist in costing and pricing development, respond to customer needs and develop a methodical overview and solution for problems. 20% of the time is spent managing existing customer relationships.
Background Required:
- Business to business transportation sales (3 yrs minimum, 5 years preferred)
- Meet and exceed quotas
- Courier sales
- New business development
- Proven success breaking into and expanding enterprise accounts
- Track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets in high-growth B2B/B2C company
- Ability to grow business year over year and cross sell
- Build and execute SOPs, KPIs, and QBRs
- Collaborate solutions with Operations, IT, Finance, and Legal
- Computer literate: Microsoft Suite and CRM Management
- Education: High School Diploma acceptable assuming 5 years of sales experience
- Residence: Central Time Zone (Remote)
