Crane Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of cranes and heavy machinery on construction sites, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical operations and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Operate cranes and heavy equipment, including cranes, forklifts and buggies.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate lifting operations and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Assist in the building and assembly of structures by transporting materials as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area on the construction site.
• Follow all safety guidelines and regulations while operating equipment.

Skills

• Proficient in operating cranes, forklifts, buggies. NCCCO Preferred but not required.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
• Ability to work well in a team environment while maintaining focus on safety.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with other crew members on-site.
• Experience in construction sites is preferred for understanding site dynamics and safety requirements.
• Willing and able to perform helper duties when crane and forklift services not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $32.00 - $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 80 per week
