The primary duties of this role will be to assist the fab shop foremen receiving of deliveries and loading trucks for shipping. Assisting in the inventory control and general operations at a 70,000 square foot fabrication facility in Andover, MA.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Fab Shop Helper (Pre-Apprentice) duties will include:
- Track, document, and notify proper persons of all deliveries to and from the fabrication shop
- Organize and track locations of all materials and equipment being temporarily stored at the shop
- The employee is expected to be able to lift up to 50 pounds. If required to move material and equipment greater than the limits, employee shall seek assistance to help with moving the material or use material handling machinery.
- Unloading and storing of incoming materials and equipment deliveries
- Log required shop/building maintenance requirements and schedule vendors as necessary
- Perform other various tasks

Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and clean DMV record mandatory
- Basic computer skills and experience using software needed
- Maintain clean work area and warehouse at all times
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and maintain a strict deadline
- Work in fast-pace environment
- Ability to interact with other employees, team player
- OSHA-10 Certified
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
