What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lease Operator II position at TG Natural Resources?
Description
The Lease Operator II is responsible for safe and efficient daily operations of our natural gas system. This is a mid-level position which will require the ability to perform duties independently or with assistance as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Travel to each location to gather, record, and report all relevant information (i.e., gauges, levels, fluids, pressures, production, etc., in an accurate and consistent manner). This is applicable to Lease Operators only.
- Inspect locations for any leaks, spills, and recognize any potential issues. Contact immediate supervisor with any relevant issues, or significant production loss in a timely manner. Applicable to lease operators, foreman, meter techs, and superintendents.
- Record and process all paperwork, inspections, timecards, and expense reports in a timely manner.
- Identify and diagnose any problems on location and repair without supervision.
- Maintain and increase production through good, daily operations by properly utilizing tools the tools and equipment available.
- Perform all other duties required for which the employee is qualified and trained.
Requirements
- 2 years of oilfield experience
- Must be able to perform simple daily tasks with hand tools.
- Must have valid driver’s license.

Physical Demands and Exposures
- Work is regularly performed in outside weather conditions, including rain and extreme cold and heat, near moving mechanical parts; exposure to high wind, ice, snow, wet and/or humid conditions, vibration, and dust is expected.
- Exposure to noise levels requiring the use of hearing protection
- Prolonged sitting, standing, walking
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to individually lift: Maximum 100 lbs.
- Possible exposures to gas/ liquid hydrocarbons and salt water.
- Must wear FR clothing.
