Description
Ensure proper operation and calibration on all gas and liquid meters.
· Lead in excellent safety record without LTA.
· Communicate measurement anomalies to Measurement Foreman.
· Work with team and manage scheduled and un-scheduled measurement activities.
· Product validation, sampling and documentation using SOPs and Best Measurement Practices.
· Work as a service member with operations and production.
· New well meter installations, replace and repair existing measurement devices.
· Understand gas operations and assist in troubleshooting with I/E and Production.
· Assist in well reviews, to increase production and minimize base decline.
· Collection of meter data.
· Maintain area comms to 98% or greater.
· Maintain clean work areas and tools/equipment.
· Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications
· A minimum of 5 years of measurement experience.
· General computer and data archiving skills.
· Willing to learn area systems, operations, and procedures.
· Must understand orifice measurement and orifice sizing.
· Familiar with Cygnet Vision, Cygnet Explorer, PCCU, Freewave Tool Suite,Roclink 800 and CalcIt.
· Familiar with AGA 3, API 21.1, API 14.3, and API 14.1 a plus.
· Proficiency in Microsoft applications (such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Must be self-starter, self-motivated and work with and without supervision.
· Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work as part of a team.
· Valid driver’s license.
· Must be available to be in the on-call rotation schedule.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
· Job is classified as light physical work in an office setting involving sitting, with intermittent periods of stooping, walking and standing.
· Occasionally may be required to lift, carry, push or pull 10-25 pounds.
