Job Title: Tree Care Foreman
Job Overview: The Tree Care Foreman is responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily tree care operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in all aspects of tree pruning, removal, planting, and maintenance. The Foreman will manage a team of tree care technicians and work closely with clients to deliver superior services while maintaining high industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Supervision:
- Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of tree care technicians.
- Assign tasks and ensure the team follows safe work practices and company policies.
- Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
- Project Management:
- Oversee tree care projects, including tree pruning, removal, planting, and general maintenance.
- Ensure work is completed on schedule, within budget, and to the client’s satisfaction.
- Coordinate job site setup, ensuring proper equipment, safety gear, and tools are available.
- Safety Compliance:
- Ensure all work adheres to safety standards, including OSHA and ANSI Z133.
- Conduct regular safety briefings, job hazard analyses, and safety inspections.
- Ensure that all team members follow proper safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
- Customer Interaction:
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients during project execution.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions.
- Address client concerns, resolve issues, and ensure satisfaction throughout the project.
- Equipment and Materials Management:
- Oversee the proper maintenance and operation of tree care equipment (chippers, cranes, chainsaws, etc.).
- Ensure inventory is adequately stocked, and all tools and materials are in good working condition.
- Quality Control:
- Review work performed to ensure it meets industry standards and client expectations.
- Provide guidance to the team to ensure high-quality work and proper tree care techniques are used.
- Administrative Duties:
- Assist in creating project estimates and cost assessments.
- Track work hours, project progress, and equipment usage.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including job completion reports and work logs.
Qualifications:
- Must have verifiable experience in complex rigging, crane removals, aerial lift operation, SRT and DRT climbing techniques.
- 3-5 years of experience in tree care or related field.
- ISA Certified Arborist (preferred).
- Proven experience in tree pruning, removal, planting, and maintenance.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of tree biology, safety standards, and equipment operation.
- Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred).
- First Aid/CPR certification (preferred).

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
