What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Golf Coach position at TGA Premier Sports?
Responsibilities:
- Educate and train kids in the game of golf.
- Ensure the safety of all participants by enforcing safety rules and protocols.
- Execute TGA training programs that focus on skill development, technique, the science of the game, and positive life lessons through sports.
- Provide guidance and support to athletes to help them improve their performance.
- Teach proper behavior management techniques to maintain a positive and respectful training environment.
- Ensure the safety of all participants by enforcing safety rules and protocols.
- Evaluate athletes' progress and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff members to coordinate team activities.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with students or athletes in a coaching or teaching capacity is a plus, but the TGA system offers a road map for new instructors.
- Strong knowledge of the game.
- Ability to effectively communicate instructions and provide feedback to athletes of all ages and skill levels.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with athletes, parents, and fellow coaches.
- Demonstrated ability to manage behavior and maintain discipline in a sports setting.
- First aid training is a plus.
