We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Tennis Professional to join our team part-time, full time, or seasonal. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the supervisor with daily business operations as well as coaching and mentoring young athletes .If you have a passion for tennis and have strong organizational and time management skills and a reliable work ethic, we encourage you to apply. Must have a strong tennis background in coaching/ playing.
Responsibilities
- Assist with program creation, planning, and scheduling throughout the spring, summer, fall and winter seasons.
- Assist with creating program registration sites and monitoring enrollments; troubleshoot, assist, and communicate with customers as needed.
- Conduct tennis lessons, including private lessons, group lessons, camps, and clinics, as scheduled by the supervisor.
- Monitor inventory and notify the supervisor if additional inventory at different practice locations is needed.
- Bi-weekly report of players' progress
- Create, update and monitor tennis practice plans for various ages as appropriate.
- Participate in weekly meetings with the supervisor and the director.
- Monitor and update content on the company's social media channels.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree (Sport Management, Communication, Business is preferred)
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work in high-pressure situations
- Ability to adapt quickly
- USTA ranking 4.5 and above
Experience:
- Prior professional tennis teaching experience with beginner to advanced youth players
- Prior professional tennis teaching experience with beginner to advanced adult players
- Prior professional tennis teaching experience in both group and individual lessons
Background Check
- Must pass the background check
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior customer relations/service experience
- Knowledge and experience in digital marketing and social media is a plus
- Positive references from previous professional experience
- USTA ranking 5.0 and above
- Varsity college experience preferred
- Reference letter of prior supervisors/coaches
Working Conditions:
- Work is hybrid
- Full-time 40 hours per week with some weekends and holidays
- Must have a reliable form of transportation to on-site locations

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
