We are seeking a talented, experienced, and personable IT Department Manager to join our team and lead our IT operations to new heights.



As the IT Department manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the IT infrastructure of our agency. You will be responsible for ensuring the implementation and administration of information systems and equipment in accordance with our organizational policies and goals. You will administer internal procedures and guidelines to diagnose and resolve technical issues across different systems and technologies, including hardware, software and networks. Additionally, you’ll oversee the analysis of business needs and select IT hardware and software products to support internal business processes. You will develop detailed documentation of methodologies, processes, and specifications of our organization’s IT strategy and roadmap to ensure computer equipment, hardware, and software operate in alignment with organizational needs and standards. You’ll also plan and implement our organization’s network infrastructure including LANs, WANs, and wireless networks and monitor network performance.



We are looking for a personable but confident IT Department Manager who will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of all IT systems, supporting our creative teams with the technology they need to excel, and driving strategic IT initiatives to enhance our overall productivity and innovation. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and strategic leader with a strong technical background and passion for design and technology.




Responsibilities:

  • Take primary ownership for end-user support.
  • Keep IT ticket queue clean and updated with statuses for the team’s activities.
  • Proactively identify areas of process or technology improvement and provide clear rationale to inform leadership decisions.
  • Find solutions to problems as they arise, quickly and independently.
  • Drive a capability enhancement initiative from kickoff to execution.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with business stakeholders to identify areas where we can improve service.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key vendor points of contact.
  • Manage our relationship with our 3P IT Consulting vendor.
  • Process development, documentation, improvement, and training.
  • Policy advising, support, training, implementation, and enforcement.
  • Supporting our annual IT Security Compliance Certification(s), Audit(s), and review(s).
  • Stay informed of relevant IT industry news, advancements, and trends.
  • Key collaborator in the operations department.
  • Managing and maintaining our physical office IT needs, including being onsite for key deliverables, events, and team onsite activities.
  • Partner with Finance to manage hardware and software inventory.



Qualifications:

  • 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Relevant experience with our clients IT environments and requirements, including but not limited to Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, and Meta
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to balance pragmatism and discipline.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and patience.
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Expert knowledge in end-user device management, enterprise network management, hardware management, IT Asset Management Framework, IT operations, IT program management, software performance management, software requirement specifications, systems management, technical project management, policy administration.
