Lake Forest, CA (Hybrid: In-office Mondays & Wednesdays)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Commercial Account Manager. This role will manage a $3 million book of business, ensuring seamless client service while supporting new business development. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial insurance, strong proficiency in AMS 360/Vertafore, and an active P&C insurance license in California.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management: Oversee a diverse portfolio, including liquor stores, retail businesses, street sweepers, pavement maintenance contractors, and more.
- Client & Broker Communications: Act as a liaison between agents, underwriters, internal teams, and clients to facilitate smooth information flow.
- Policy Accuracy & Compliance: Ensure accuracy in coverage, commission, premiums, and attachments, initiating necessary corrections.
- Renewal Coordination: Proactively manage account renewals and provide quotations and binders for new business, renewals, and endorsements.
- Certificates & Claims Processing: Manage certificate issuance and respond to broker, client, and underwriter queries, ensuring prompt resolution.
- Billing & Collections: Review client accounting history, address discrepancies, and manage receivable collections.
- Data Management: Maintain complete and accurate records within AMS 360/Vertafore, ensuring compliance with agency management system standards.
- Business Development Support: Assist in identifying and cultivating new business opportunities for both existing and potential clients.
- Claims Handling: Receive and process claims, forwarding them to carriers as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial insurance account management.
- Proficiency in AMS 360/Vertafore
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license in California.
- Ability to effectively manage a $3 million book of business.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities.
Work Schedule & Location:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
- Hybrid work environment – in-office on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Salary : $70,000 - $90,000
