Hours: M-Th 7am -5pm F 7am-2pm
Job Summary:
The Director of Business Development is a key leadership position responsible for driving the growth and expansion of the company by identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and fostering long-term client relationships. This role requires an individual with a deep understanding of market dynamics, sales, and strategic initiatives to help shape the company’s growth trajectory and achieve revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development & Execution:
- Lead the development and execution of business development strategies to meet the company’s growth objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities, emerging markets, and partnerships that align with the company’s goals.
- Collaborate with senior management to set and execute growth plans and sales targets.
- Market Research & Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform decision-making.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to effectively position the company.
- Partnership Development:
- Build and maintain relationships with potential partners, clients, investors, and stakeholders to drive business growth.
- Negotiate and close high-value deals and contracts to expand the company’s customer base and market share.
- Oversee the partnership lifecycle, ensuring successful integration and delivery of services.
- Sales Leadership:
- Work closely with the sales team to align business development efforts with revenue-generating activities.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the business development team, ensuring they meet performance objectives.
- Establish and manage pipelines, forecasts, and sales metrics to track and report on progress.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to develop tailored solutions for clients and partners.
- Communicate new opportunities, trends, and competitive threats to the leadership team.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with key clients and partners.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and retention by addressing their needs and concerns.
- Reporting & Metrics:
- Report on business development activities, opportunities, and performance to the executive leadership team.
- Analyze data to ensure business development strategies are effectively implemented and optimized for maximum growth.
Must Have’s:
Familiarity with CRM and construction programs (they have their own
with marketing)
Not looking for some sharpshooter, really looking for someone in tune
with Nevada market and key players with construction background
Min 5 years of biz development experience
General Contracting industry required within their region, familiarity with Nevada and
key players
