DIRECTOR OF SALES
MUST HAVE Experience in the oil and gas industry.
MUST HAVE Experience with gears.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for business development and customer retention.
Market segmentation analysis for fracking and mud pump markets.
Layout OEM, rebuilders, packagers, and end user base
Market demographics
Defining equipment usage (primary pumps)
Upkeep/maintenance cycles of equipment
Identify other adjacent markets/targets in Gulf Coast region such as rebuilders, steel producers, sugar, etc. Improving the market position of the organization and helping it in every way to attain the desired financial growth.
- Delivering presentations and carrying negotiations with both existing and prospective customers that maximize our stickiness and secure the business long term.
- Developing plans and strategies for furthering new business opportunities and achieving the company’s sales and margin goals
- Planning the long-term growth strategy and goals for the company and ensuring that they are executed.
- Ability for tactical organization mapping and penetration to key decision makers.
- Building key customer relationships that ensure the organization maintains a good position in the market.
- Monitoring customer, market and competitor activity and providing feedback to leadership team and other company functions.
- 75% Travel.
Required:
Minimum of a 4 Year Degree; equivalent proven experience preferred
Proven leadership role in a manufacturing sales organization; experience in the gearing and gearbox industry preferred
