About the Role
We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Auto Repair Techs to join our team. As a Jr. Automotive Technician/Mechanic, you will be responsible for effectively and efficiently diagnosing and repairing customer vehicles while adhering to the MAP guidelines and in accordance with dealership, manufacturers, and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose vehicles according to the appropriate level of certifications/experience.
- Perform work as outlined on the Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order with efficiency and accuracy.
- Explain technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals, including Store Managers, Service Consultants, and customers.
- Recommend services necessary to keep customers' vehicles in running condition and document all recommendations in customer files.
- Follow all safety procedures and report any concerns to the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
- Maintain appropriate ASE certifications and renewals of expiring certifications.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Prefer a minimum of one unexpired ASE or equivalent experience or training.
- Possess a valid driver's license, or obtain a valid driver's license within 30 days of hire date.
- Ability to work a minimum of five days, Monday-Friday.
