Sr. Automotive Technician/Mechanic Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sr. Automotive Repair Technician/Mechanic to join our team at TGK Automotive Specialists, a renowned automotive services provider.
Job Summary:
The Senior Automotive Technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing customer vehicles efficiently while adhering to MAP guidelines, dealership, manufacturer's, and company repair standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair customer vehicles with efficiency and accuracy
- Explain technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals
- Recommend services necessary to keep customer vehicles in running condition
- Document all recommendations in customer files
Requirements:
- Previous automotive technician/machine experience required
- Able to demonstrate proper use of computerized equipment for diagnostics
- Ability to work flexible schedules (Monday - Saturday)

Work Environment:
The Senior Automotive Technician will be exposed to moderate to loud noises, dust, exhaust fumes, lubricants, petroleum products, vapors, caustic materials, and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
This position requires standing up to eight hours per day in the shop and walking to access various areas of the building.
