Senior Automotive Repair Technician/Mechanic
We are seeking an experienced Senior Automotive Repair Technician/Mechanic to join our team at TGK Automotive Specialists. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for effectively and efficiently diagnosing and repairing customer vehicles while adhering to the MAP guidelines and in accordance with dealership, manufacturer's, and company repair standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnostics and Repair: Perform work as outlined on the Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order with efficiency and accuracy.
- Communication: Explain technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals, including Store Manager, Service Consultants, and customers.
- Service Recommendations: Recommend services necessary to keep customers' vehicles in running condition, properly documenting all recommendations in customer files.

Requirements:
- Previous automotive technician/mechanic experience required
- Able to demonstrate proper use of computerized equipment for diagnostics

The Senior Automotive Technician will be exposed to moderate to loud noises, dust, exhaust fumes, lubricants, petroleum products, vapors, caustic materials, and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials. The Senior Automotive Technician must be able to meet the following physical requirements:
- Stand up to eight hours per day in the shop and able to walk to gain access to various areas of the building
