What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Respiratory Tech Resource Pool position at tgmctest?
Under the guidance of the Director of Cardio Respiratory Care, the CRTT will perform a variety of technical procedures related to general patient care, oxygen therapy, critical care, and cardio-pulmonary diagnostics. All activities of the CRTT will be directly supervised by the shift supervisor with input from the critical care coordinator and protocol coordinator.
Qualifications :
- CRTT : Graduate of AMA approved Respiratory Care Program.
- If Certified Eligible, must have valid 18 month temporary license.
- To work in critical care areas : Must be CRTT with at least one year of clinical experience preferred. ICU / Critical Care skills must be demonstrated / documented.
- Pediatric / Neonatal Care skills must be demonstrated / documented.
- Must successfully complete ACLS training course in order to work in Critical Care areas. (12 months to accomplish)
