About the job
As a Data Science Intern, you will collaborate with our Data & Analytics team at our Houston Headquarters location to tackle complex, real-world challenges in subsurface and geoscience data. Working closely with the Lead Data Scientist and team members, you'll implement machine learning workflows, validate data, and develop insights that drive exploration and decision-making. This internship is ideal for individuals passionate about data science, coding, and the energy sector.
Key Responsibilities :
- Machine Learning & Data Science : Develop, implement, and optimize machine learning algorithms for seismic, well, and production datasets.
- Data Processing & Validation : Conduct rigorous data validation and preprocessing to ensure high-quality datasets for analysis.
- Research & Innovation : Perform literature research on emerging trends, algorithms, and methods in machine learning and energy exploration.
- Visualization & Communication : Create insightful data visualizations, technical presentations, and marketing materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaboration & Safety : Collaborate with team members while focusing on health, safety, and environmental standards.
