Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain database systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Implement high availability solutions to minimize downtime and enhance system resilience.
- Conduct performance tuning of databases to improve efficiency and speed.
- Design and develop database structures that meet the needs of various applications.
- Write scripts for automation of database tasks and maintenance processes.
- Manage ETL processes to ensure data integrity and availability across systems.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator with strong knowledge of MySQL.
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems is essential.
- Experience with high availability database solutions is preferred.
- Strong skills in performance tuning and optimization techniques.
- Ability to write shell scripts for automation purposes.
- Knowledge of ETL processes is a plus.
