Job Summary:
This position has split responsibilities with 60% of the work being done as a SalesForce Database Administrator and 40% of the work as the IT Administrator. This position will ensure smooth operations of TGTHR’s SalesForce Non-Profit Cloud (NPC) and Non-Profit Success Pack (NPSP) and IT systems and provide technical assistance to end users. This position will ensure that all end users have appropriate access, training, and support in the SalesForce platform. Additionally, this position will act as a liaison between users and our IT service provider to maintain and enhance IT infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and support various technology initiatives within the organization. This position is based out of our Boulder office but provides support to 75 employees in three Boulder locations, and one north Denver location.
SalesForce NPC Duties/Responsibilities:
- Set up and customize Salesforce objects, fields, and layouts to align with TGTHR’s data needs.
- Manage user permissions and security settings to protect sensitive data in conjunction with the contract vendor.
- Implement workflows and automation rules to streamline processes.
- Monitor system performance and address any issues.
- Ensure data quality and accuracy through data cleansing and validation processes.
- Develop data import and export strategies to integrate with other systems.
- Create reports and dashboards to provide insights into key metrics for fundraising, donor management, and program impact.
- Provide comprehensive training to new and existing users on Salesforce features and functionalities relevant to their roles.
- Troubleshoot user issues and provide technical support.
- Gather feedback from users to identify areas for system improvement.
- Evaluate and implement third-party apps from the Salesforce AppExchange to enhance functionality.
- Develop custom solutions using Apex code or other Salesforce development tools (depending on skill level).
- Maintain compliance with relevant data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR).
- Generate reports and analysis to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for fundraising (NPSP) and program (NPC) effectiveness and compliance.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- SalesForce Administrator Certification.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform features and functionalities, particularly related to NPSP and NPC.
- Experience in data management, including data cleansing, validation, and reporting.
- Excellent communication and training skills to effectively educate users on Salesforce.
- Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical configurations within Salesforce.
- 3-5 years of experience in an equivalent role.
- Meticulous attention to detail and very good at troubleshooting.
- Ability to sit for long periods of time while also performing typing duties
- Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
- Ability to lift, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, push and other strenuous activities.
- An ability to multi-task and quickly shift between all facets of the job.
- Strong verbal communication, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Able to understand and respect the importance of confidentiality.
- Willingness and ability to work in a dynamic environment, in a team setting.
